Purple Hearts

 
I don't know what to make about the US military's lukewarm approach to giving Purple Hearts to soldiers with concussions caused by enemy action (NPR story). They watch the NFL every Sunday and watch players get knocked out, pushed back into action, make millions, and play another day. Besides, the brass must say, "Do I give a PH for all concussions, mild concussions, or only when the soldier is knocked silly?".
